Born in Franklin County, North Carolina, The Farm Exchange Co-op is a vibrant collective of small regenerative farmers united by a shared commitment to agroecology—farming in harmony with nature. Together, we are transforming central North Carolina’s agricultural future by prioritizing soil health, biodiversity, and equitable access to food.

Through on-farm education, hands-on experiences, and deep community collaboration, we reconnect people to the land and to each other. By working in partnership with other cooperatives across the region, we bring healthy, locally-grown food and agricultural products to markets and tables—supporting food sovereignty, economic resilience, and cultural revitalization for rural communities.
